We provide a wide array of civil legal services, including litigation involving business and contract disputes, real property and boundary line disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, divorces, child custody, emergency child custody issues, juvenile dependency and neglect proceedings, adoptions, and termination of parental rights.  Probate of wills and estates as well as estate planning including wills, powers of attorney, and creation of trusts. We also practice criminal defense of all manner of criminal offenses including assaults, burglaries, thefts, drug offenses, sexual assaults and rapes, extortion, money laundering, DUI, juvenile delinquency, and student appearances before the school board disciplinary committee.

July 2012

Sumner County school bus driver charged with assault against a student after he took reasonable steps to maintain order and safety aboard his bus was found "not guilty" of any wrongdoing.  Afterward we worked with our state representative to have the law changed to give bus drivers the same authority and protection when disciplining students that teachers and principals have. The Portland Preservation Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in August 2012 for the purpose of revitalizing interest in the historic downtown area of Portland and educating the public on its rich history.  Its current projects include restoration of the Moye-Green house and its designation on the National Register of Historic Places and the restoration of the Temple Theatre.  Please visit our Facebook page!
